Lavender or lavender True, as it is sometimes called, is one of the most popular aromatic oils. The name of the plant derives from the Latin ‘lavare’ - to wash, probably from its uses in cleansing wounds, although it was widely used for personal bathing.

The oil derives from the Lavender shrub and is clear or pale yellow in colour with a sweet, floral fragrance. It has a good middle strength aroma, making it ideal in any blend. It is a versatile oil with many varied uses, it is relaxing and quietening yet strengthening. It has antiseptic properties and promotes healing.
 
Blends well with: Most oils especially citrus.

• Never take internally

• Never use undiluted on the skin, mix with a suitable carrier oil, one drop to 2mls of carrier oil.  

• When treating babies and infants, lower dosage and dilute thoroughly

• Keep out of the reach of children
