The essential oil of lemon is extracted by pressure to the outer coloured part of the peel and has a greenish yellow colour with a fresh sharp citrus fragrance.
It is a stimulating oil, invigorating and refreshing both on the body and mind. It is considered a good antiseptic essential oil, cleansing and clearing and can be used in many ways.
Lemon oil contains vitamin C.
Blends well with: Chamomile, Lavender, Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Juniperberry and Ylang Ylang.
Safety Information:
- Never use undiluted on the skin. mix with a suitable carrier oil, one drop to 2mls of carrier oil
- Never take internally
- Use in moderation, may irritate sensitive skins.
- Do not use on exposed skin before going out in direct sunlight, can be phototoxic
- Do not use in pregnancy
- Keep out of the reach of children
