The essential oil of lime is extracted by cold expression of the peel of the unripe fruit and has a sharp aroma, characteristic of the fruit.
Lime is a stimulating oil, invigorating and refreshing both on the body and mind, a good uplifting oil. A good source of vitamin C.
Blends well with:Geranium, Bergamot, Lavender, Neroli, Rosemary, Clary Sage.
Safety Information:
- Never use undiluted on the skin. mix with a suitable carrier oil, one drop to 2mls of carrier oil
- Never take internally
- Use in moderation, may irritate sensitive skins.
- Do not use on exposed skin before going out in direct sunlight, can be phototoxic
- Do not use in pregnancy
- Keep out of the reach of children
