Mandarin essential oil is extracted by cold expression from the mandarin rind of the fruit and has the characteristic sweet tangy aroma.

It has stimulating, toning yet relaxing and quietening properties.  Uplifts the spirits and soothes the mind.  Mandarins gentle action makes it a suitable oil to use for both the young and the old.  Mandarin oil can either be deep yellow to orange in colour, (referred to as Mandarin red) or green depending on the ripeness of the fruit.  Mandarin red comes from the ripe sweet fruit and the green from the unripe fruit.   

Blends well with: any spice oils, Teatree, Lavender, Clary Sage, Bergamot and Rose.
   
Safety Information:

• Never use undiluted on the skin. mix with a suitable carrier oil, one drop to 2mls of carrier oil 

• Never take internally

• Do not use in pregnancy

• Use in moderation, may irritate sensitive skins

• Do not use on exposed skin before going out in direct sunlight, can be phototoxic, it can also discolour the skin

• Keep out of the reach of children
