The essential oil of petitgrain derives from the leaves and twigs of the bitter orange tree. It has a pale yellow colour with a floral citrus scent that is refreshing and light.
Petitgrain has relaxing yet stimulating properties with a very pleasant aroma that can refresh the body and mind. Petitgrain oil comes from the sun drenched Mediterranean regions like France.
Like all citrus oils Petitgrain does not last long, approximately six months.
Blends well with: Rosemary, Geranium, Lavender, Clary Sage, Jasmine, Bergamot.
Safety Information:
- Never take internally
- Never use undiluted on the skin, mix with a suitable carrier oil, one drop to 2mls of carrier oil
- Not suitable for babies and infants
- Do not use in pregnancy
- Keep out of the reach of children
