The essential oil comes from the tall scented grass closely associated to Lemongrass.
It is yellowy-brown in appearance with a powerful sweet lemony aroma.

The oil is not widely used in aromatherapy.  It is mainly used as an insect repellent and disinfectant.

Blends well with: Geranium, Bergamot, Orange, Cedarwood and Pine.
 
Safety Information:

  •  Never take internally
  • Never use undiluted on the skin. mix with a suitable carrier oil,one drop to 3-4mls of carrier oil
  • Can be a slight skin irritant, especially on those with sensitive skins Use in low dilution
  • Do not use during pregnancy
  • Should not be used on babies and infants
  • Keep out of the reach of children
