Castor Oil Ricinus Communis
Comes from the ripe seeds of the quick growing herbaceous sub shrub which can grow up to fifteen feet high, native to India, Africa, Brazil and China. Castor oil is used mainly in the food, toiletries and cosmetic industries due to its softening and moistening properties.

Hazel Nut Oil Corylus Avellana
Comes from the fruit of the tree it’s similar to Sweet Almond in composition and stability with the same properties. Highly recommended as carrier oil because of its ability to penetrate the epidermis without leaving the skin greasy.

Linseed Oil Linus usitatissimum
Linseed oil also known as Flax Seed is clear yellowish in colour and is obtained form the ripe seeds of the flax plant. Flax seed is very high in natural anti-oxidant Vitamin E and contains high levels of omega 3 fatty acids.

Macadamia Nut Oil Macadamia Ternifolia
Pale in colour low odour oil that a makes a superior massage oil. It absorbs into the skin rapidly but still provides a workable film ideal for massage. Macadamia Nut has a high content of palmitoleic acid, sources usually found in fish oils. Moisturising and nourishing ideal for aromatherapy massage.  

Peanut Oil (Groundnut Oil) Arachis Hypogaea
Peanut oil also known as Groundnut oil has a nutty odour and sticky texture. Best diluted 50/50 (or more) with a less viscous oil such as sweet almond.

Soya Bean Oil Glycine Max/Soja Hispida
Soya bean is native to China, the oil is extracted from the bean. Mainly used in the food trade but also because of it s emollient it reinforces the skins defence barrier and prevents moisture loss therefore ideal oil used in toiletries for its nourishing properties.
